Moms make money online

Do you want to learn how to make extra money online? Thousands of moms make money online and are successful doing so. Yes, I am very serious. Moms make money on line every day!

There are many sites on the internet that teach you how to make extra money online. In fact thousands of moms make money online on a regular basis, and most of them started off from scratch.

Some moms are part of an Affiliate network and they are often more than happy to teach other moms how to make extra money online too. You see, if you join their network and are successful to make extra money online, they in turn make more money. There are other people who are trying to teach people how to make money online without gaining anything from it personally. Quite frankly both have a lot to offer.

Instructions and tips given by people participating in Affiliate Programs:
These people want you to succeed because the better you do with your affiliate business, they better they will do. It's a win-win situation. Because of that, I've often found their instructions clear, easy to understand and there's a fair bit of good advice given. It has to be simple to succeed, so simple that anyone can participate in Affiliate programs and learn how to make extra money online. But you do have to be careful, some are more scam than useful.

On line blogs and other sites committed to instructing people how to make money online:
Some of these are good, some are crap. The good ones are usually very good. By the way, a tip--you learn as much from the comments following posts as you do from posts.

People who give blow by blow details on their online entrepreneur journey:
I haven't spent too much time reading these type of blogs. I figure that they're learning just as I am, and while they might be way ahead of me on the learning curve, still they will likely make some mistakes or make wrong choices. If I were to follow them exactly, I could end up in the same pickle.

Articles posted online in ezines:
A lot of articles seem to be a rehash of a blog post, or a rehash of a other people's ideas and tips. That is likely because articles are used as one way of getting back-links to your site, and increasing your visibility on search engine pages. But many moms make money online through using articles. There are many good, instructional articles posted too. I don't always have the time to wade through the article sites to find the good articles though. Generally, the best make it towards the top of the search engine listings.

eBooks:
It is difficult to estimate how many eBooks are currently floating around on the internet. Many contain the same information re-hashed and re-presented. There are multitudes of helpful books on internet marketing, affiliate marketing, making money from Google adsense, how to make your fortune on eBay, and so on. eBooks are a good source of information, providing you can find the right one.

Personal coaches and tutors:
Many people offer coaching or tutoring on line these days. It can be quite expensive to hire or work with an on line coach, and it often involves signing up with their particular program. One popular coaching program currently costs around US$ 1,598 for two months coaching. Working with a very small initial budget, I found that was out of my price range. Joining up with an Affiliate program, however, can also give you some limited personal coaching also, depending on the program you sign up with. After all, remember, if you joined up with their affiliate program, it's in their best interest that you succeed.

No matter how you choose to learn how to make extra money online and broaden your understanding of online marketing, one thing is certain. If you are new to making money online you will have to apply yourself and study. Yes, moms make money online, and many are quite successful at it. But remember, in spite of advertisements to the contrary, there's really no easy way to make extra money online. Don't be duped or fooled by what you read. If you don't study and apply what you learn, you will not make very much money at all. Even if you do study, chances that you'll be earning hundreds of dollars a week initially seem fairly slim. You have to build up your websites, promote them, give them time to grow and gain traffic.

All of these topics are worthy of a post on their own, which may be forthcoming. In the meantime, remember moms make money online all the time. And, there's lots of tips out there on how to make extra money online. So with a little study and investment of your time you can be one of those moms make money online. Even if you just want to make extra money online, it will still take some initial investment of time, and maybe even a little money (just a little) to get started.

Take a look at some of the programs I've checked into.

Women working from Home

I'm not the only crazy work at home mom, there are others. In fact, the term WAHM is a very common phrase searched for online. There's WAHM networks, WAHM communities, WAHM message boards. Take a look. No need to feel like you're all alone in this. Hey, there's even Mumpreneurs!

One amazing woman has told her story on how to start an online business, and if you're interested you should step on over and read what she has to share. With all the hype about how easy it is to earn money online and to make internet marketing pay, it's refreshing to hear others tell it like it is.

Options for the Work at Home Mom

What options are available for making money online, for a work at home mom?

Lots. There are so many options for the work at home mom, in fact, that your head whirls and spins and you almost short-circuit when you start researching them. Just when you think you've found 'the right one' for you, something else comes along to grab your interest.

When I first began my quest to become a work at home mom I researched many options.

If you want to become a work at home mom, how do you finally decide what to go with?

Legitimate ways to make money on the internet for a work at home mom
There are many different ways to earn money online. Here are a few that I, a new work at home mom, have considered.

Sell products on eBay: As with any other online business, research will be the key to your success.
Find out which items are in high demand, and if you can provide those you are in business. It does require some research into shipping and packaging, and you must be prepared to ship items that are sold fairly quickly. If you are willing to undertake this, eBay selling can be quite lucrative. This may not be the easiest way for a work at home mom to start off her internet business though.

Make money with Google Adsense: Some online entrepreneurs vow that they are able to make a substantial amount of income by placing Google ads on their websites. It's not quite as easy as it sounds. Your site needs to be optimized for the main search engines. If no one can find your site, you won't get many people clicking on your Google ads. There's a bit of a steep learning curve involved with this, and it's not something you can expect immediate income from. Generally speaking, you would have to make good, high-quality, informational sites on niche products; build up a steady stream of visits via search engines, and then place your Ads. Something for the work at home mom to consider, if you're prepared to wait a while for results.

Join with an Affiliate Program: There is an abundance of Affiliate programs on the internet. At first glance it is difficult to tell how much initial outlay of money you'll need to invest. Some seem to be much simpler to implement than others. Some programs offer personal training and excellent tech support. Other's are a bit slim when it comes to assistance of any kind. I spent a long time researching Affiliate programs. Finally I came up with a couple of opportunities that I felt were doable, didn't require a lot of initial investment, and offered good customer support for this work at home mom.

I am currently implementing a couple of these, and have yet to see what sort of results I will reap and whether they are worth recommending to any other work at home mom.

There are other opportunities for a work at home mom: You can bid on writing articles; set up an online store, write ads, sell horoscopes, resell domains, take photographs and post them online for people to buy, design websites, sell graphics, and more. I am concentrating primarily on the three options listed above. I aim to implement all methods and see which is the most successful.

Having said that, I want to reiterate that none of these options will 'work' on their own. After research and study, I realized that if I am serious about increasing my revenue from online sources as a work at home mom I must work at it. I will need to learn new things, to research, experiment and take time planning and setting things up. Where is that knowledge going to come from?

In my next post I'll discuss how you can learn to be a successful work at home mom.

Introducing: Internet Marketing Mom

I am an internet marketing mom with two teenagers still at home, and two grown up daughters with children of their own. (Yup, I am also a young grandmother.) I would like to have more money to spend on, well, you know, things. I also want to travel more now that my children are grown up.

My husband, on the other hand, is still very busy working, trying to make ends meet, and he's not very interested in either "things" or travel at present. (Says we don't have enough money to do those things.)

I worked out a deal with my husband. He gave me $100 US to start up a home internet-based business. Once that $100 is used up any other investments into my internet home business has to come from profits I make. My husband thinks I am crazy to think I can become an internet marketing mom. When he thinks I'm not looking, I see him shaking his head sadly in my direction. He doesn't think I'll make a cent on the internet. In fact, he's sure I'll be scammed out of that $100 with nothing to show for it.

I think I stand a chance to become an internet marketing mom and make some money. Here's why:

* I'm smart (of course.)
* I've been using computers since the days of DOS and IBM PCs without a hard drive, just two floppy disk drives. I may not be as computer savvy as those young kids out there, but I know a thing or two.
* I can follow the basic instructions I read on line.
* I am following several detailed making-money-online blogs.
* Most of all, I'm determined. I need that extra cash so I'll do everything I can to make it work.

I'm not here to chronicle my journey. I'm here to encourage any other woman who wants to become an internet marketing mom. I hope to share tips, advice, encouragement and provide moral support.

To any internet marketing mom: You Rock! You can do it! If I can be an internet marketing mom, so you can!
